[2024/03/25 17:16] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "We're in mister wellmeats manor," Debben answers. "And Katana has wandered off somewhere. I mean, granted we weren't super nice to her, but..." She frowns, looking at the ground for any sign of tracks, not that she's likely to actually find anything.

[2024/03/25 17:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: And you hear the faint hubub of the city, with two fairly clear sounds coming through... one is the repetitive clank... clank... clank... of a blacksmiths' anvil, the other apparantly a trader. "Flowers.... who will buy? ... Flowers... who will buy?"
[2024/03/25 17:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: The gates are closed, with a bar across. No one is in sight.
[2024/03/25 17:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: You see the small stables, where your cart is parked.
[2024/03/25 17:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Good to know the card is still there, at least. And there's city just right outside the manor from the sound of it.

[2024/03/25 17:40] Alicia Frakture: I'm.. gonna go check out the cart. Maybe Katana crashed out there for the night
[2024/03/25 17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Looking in the stables, you come face to face with the horse, slowly chewing and crunching on something. Just to one side, there's Katana, brushing and brushing the horse with surprisingly gentleness, considering she is basically an animated stone statue
[2024/03/25 17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Oh! Good morning! You woke up. I thought I'd tend to the horse."
[2024/03/25 17:42] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Morning, Katana." Debben wanders over and waves. "How's the horse doing?" It occurs to her that she doesn't actually know all that much about caring for horses properly.... something she should probably figure out...

[2024/03/25 17:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana continues brushing the horse. "She seems to be doing fine, as far as I can tell. She likes apples."
[2024/03/25 17:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: Katana frowns and looks at Leesha. "I.... don't sleep...?"
[2024/03/25 17:44] Sonja Bikergrrl: (Animal Handling is indeed a vital secondary skill to acquire.)
[2024/03/25 17:45] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Hence looking around for things to do," she agrees. "I guess we can update that note we left for Mister Wellmeet... though it might be more useful for us to get ourselves supplied and prepped for tracking down his contact.

[2024/03/25 17:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: Bear in mind healing spells have been tried, and these did nothing.
[2024/03/25 17:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: You probably need either higher healing spells, or, some complex chemical formula.
[2024/03/25 17:54] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "....we never really appreciated Megan properly until she was gone," Debben laments, before clambering into the back of the cart to confirm their supplies. "We actually have rather a lot of coinage to work with, so if we need to track down a proper curse expert we can. Though..." she looks over at Leesha. "Anything ritually sacrificed tends to resist being healed, so we might be looking to mitigate instead of fix."
